On a sliding scale

Like that house guest sleeping in the corner, the recession just doesn't seem to want to go away. But that doesn't mean you have to stay home and sit on your hands. Bust out to Burtons Grilin North Andover for a feast of small plates clocking in @ $4.95 each. Yes these plates are small (how small?), but look what's on them: county olives tossed with feta cheese  and grilled crostini; warm goat cheese salad; crispy asparagus; mini crab cakes and the perhaps the best bang for your buck ... tenderloin sliders topped with Worcestershire cheese, sautéed crimini mushrooms and a side of onion straws. I don't know what an onion straw is, but I want one. Deal is on from 3 p.m. till the place shutters every day. Looks like a trip to No And. is in the near future. Just like that guest, you have no idea when it's going to depart, so you better shove out soon. Any recession-proof dining deals out there to trump this ace?
